Many children face challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In Schools strategically aligns and delivers needed resources so that students can focus on learning.

Mrs. Vigil joined Communities In Schools in August 2005. She has experience working with children and adults for more than 20 years. Mrs. Vigil earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Angelo State University. Mrs. Vigil is married and has three wonderful children. Mrs. Vigil hopes that by working with Communities In Schools she will touch the lives of students, teach them the importance of setting goals, continuing their education, and believing in themselves.
