Many children face challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In Schools strategically aligns and delivers needed resources so that students can focus on learning.

Communities In Schools has partnered with Dunbar Middle School since August 2009.

Dr. Doty earned a B.A. and M.A. degrees from Texas Tech University and a Ph.D from the University of Oklahoma. After teaching college for a few years all over the country, he's back in Lubbock working for and with students who deserve the same opportunities he has had.
