Lamesa Middle/High Schools

Many children face challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In Schools strategically aligns and delivers needed resources so that students can focus on learning.

Communities In Schools has partnered with Lamesa Middle/High Schools since August, 2011.

Mrs. Gallegos graduated from Howard College-San Angelo, with an AAS in Law Enforcement, and Angelo State University, with a BA in Psychology & Criminal Justice.  Her husband (Antonio) is employed at Pioneer Natural Resources, DOT Instructor.  Her son, Johnathan Jacob Garcia, attended UTSA in San Antonio. Another son, Khiry Esai Gallegos, is an active Navy Airman stationed in Pensacola, Florida.  Her daughter, Yleanna Le'Sette Gallegos, is currently attending Howard College and plans to transfer to Texas Tech-Sports Medicine Program.
