Many children face challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In Schools strategically aligns and delivers needed resources so that students can focus on learning.

Communities In Schools has partnered with Willow Bend Elementary since August, 2009.

Mrs. Archer joined Communities In Schools in October 2010. She taught 1^st grade in California for five years before moving to Lubbock. Mrs. Archer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as her Master of Arts in Education Administration from Fresno Pacific University. Mrs. Archer loves working with elementary school students. She especially loves the “Lunch Bunch” groups which currently has over 100 students who participate!
